Flood Line Flood Line

Information

Flood Line F-3315

A geotextile-lined unit for use in flood-protection applications. The design of these units reduces permeability of the wall,Gabion box with pvc coated–Wire Mesh, when filled. Flood Line units are designed for easy removal and are suitable for filling with earth, sand, or well-graded gravel. Flood Line units may also be used in other applications.

There are two standard sizes of Flood Line units: F-3315 and F-4315, as shown.

Joining pins are supplied to join units together. Plastic ties are supplied to close the geotextile together at the top of unit ends, hesco bastion–Wire Mesh, which prevents fill material from falling between unit joints.

General specifications
Geotextile lined welded wire fabric gabion to ASTM A 974-97.

Welded Mesh, hesco bastion, hesco bastion-Information-Wire Mesh, coils and pins
QiaoShi Concertainer units are manufactured with a Alu-Zinc coated welded wire mesh. The mesh has a spacing of 3" x 3" and a wire gauge of 8.5 American SWG, steel/diameter of 0.155"/3.937mm (nominal).

Geotextile
The geotextile is a heavy-duty,t post, non-woven, permeable, polypropylene fabric, available in either green or sand color.

Hesco Bastion/Barrier welded used for military :
A new system of Hesco Bastion developed specially for military use is deployed from a container, which is dragged along the line of ground where the barrier is to be formed, hesco bastion, unfolding up to several hundred meters of barrier in minutes, ready for filling with soil by a backhoe.

•Easy to handle and install
•High tensile and anti-impact capability
•Long life, regular use
•Can be filled with sand, earth, cement, stone.

Hesco barrier/hesco bastion/hesco gabion wall:

Application:

Assembling the Hesco Bastion entails unfolding it and (if available) using a front end loader to fill it with sand, dirt or gravel. The placement of the barrier is generally very similar to the placement of a sandbag barrier or earth berm except that room must generally be allowed for the equipment used to fill the barrier. The main advantage of Hesco Barrier, razor wire, strongly contributing to their popularity with troops and flood fighters, is the quick and easy setup. Previously, people had to fill sandbags, a slow undertaking, with one worker filling about 20 sandbags per hour. Workers using Hesco Barrier and a front end loader can do ten times the work of those using sandbags.

•Geotextile:in heavy duty non-woven polypropylene.
